WiseCap has gone through significant growth and change since it opened its doors in 2016. Originally Capital Hands, our primary focus started with equipment financing. We realized that our point of differentiation was not that we provide equipment financing solutions, it was that we had a team who knows how to help our customers invest in their future faster.

Today, WiseCap offers financing solutions for businesses and individuals across all industries and walks of life looking to finance their future. Because we understand the nuances of each industry, we are equipped to be more than just brokers to our clients, but a trusted financial partner helping them determine the best path forward. Team

Vishaw Chahal

Founder & CEO

Vishaw is originally from Punjab, India, but started his life and career in Canada in 2005. Coming from a Law background in India, he studied at Guru Nanak Dev University and received his Bachelor of Arts, honors in Law, Poli. Sci., and Government and went on to complete his Bachelor of Arts (Law). Upon arrival to Canada, he shifted his line of work and entered the transportation sector. He began by financing and selling trucks and trailers to colleagues and friends in the trucking industry and moved into financing of equipment in 2012. In 2017, Vishaw opened his own brokerage as a financing agent. By 2019, Vishaw formed his own sales team under the banner Capital Hands Ltd., which is now known as WiseCap Equipment Financing.

Megan McMulkin

Managing Partner, Business Development

Megan was born and raised in Saint John, New Brunswick and although she currently lives in Ontario, she returns to her hometown often. Megan’s impressive education begins with achieving her Bachelor of Commerce from Bishop’s University in Quebec where she majored in Economics and Human Resources and then went on to the University of Alberta, where she completed her MBA, Natural Resources & Energy. Her education doesn’t stop there, she is currently studying in preparation for her CPA. Megan’s career in equipment financing starts with First Union Rail, which became Wells Fargo Rail, and then onto Wells Fargo Equipment Finance where she worked in both Sales and Operations. Since 2018, Megan has worked as a Financing Agent and began with WiseCap in 2020. At WiseCap, Megan oversees vendor relations, credit, lender development and management, marketing, and sales agent sourcing and liaising.

Meham Kaur

Audit & Funding Specialist

Meham is from India where she graduated with a Major in Psychology from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. She moved to Canada in 2018 where she then completed her post-graduate in Supply Chain Management, from Lambton College in Toronto. Meham has been working for Chairs and Thrones (GPS Decors) since 2019 where she started off as an intern and was later hired on as Supply Chain Coordinator. Since May 2021, Meham has been part of the WiseCap Equipment Financing Team. Currently, along with her primary role as Audit and Funding Specialist, Meham administers credit, customer Relations, and documentation.
